The Designer creates high quality designs for residential home projects, providing excellent client service and on time delivery. 
  
Essential Functions 
 
1. Draft and design residential plans and modifications for clients, on time and according to AO specifications and quality standards; may assist with redlining coworker’s designs 
2. Create realistic renderings for clients and AO marketing 
3. Communicate with clients by phone or in person to provide custom designs, excellent customer service, as well as build new business connections 
4. Provide mentoring and training for new employees and interns as assigned. 
 
 Qualifications 
 
BA/BS in Architecture preferred, or AA with equivalent experience in architecture firm 
Good working knowledge of residential architecture design, plus building and construction industry 
Proficient with current versions of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit and Adobe Photoshop 
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal 
Effective problem solving skills 
Highly creative abilities to develop new designs and assist clients 
Strong detail orientation for design and redlining team designs
